We are DVC members booked at the Grand Californian with 5 reserved 2 day multipass lightning lane tickets. Person #6 is a CA resident with a 3 day special resident pass who is blocked from one of our 2 days. Do 5 of us now have to switch our days?

Hi, Joletta! Oh boy! I'm so thrilled you and your party have a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth coming up and am excited for all the wonder and fun you're about to experience.

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your great question.

If all six of you would like to visit the parks on the same days, the five non-SoCal Ticket Holders in your party will need to visit on dates when the SoCal Ticket Holder has park availability, as those dates are more limited. The good news is you may cancel and book new theme park reservations pretty easily as long as your ticket dates are valid and there is park reservation availability.

To modify your park reservations, log into your Disney account on the Disneyland website and within the "My Disneyland" drop-down menu at the far right of the top navigation bar, select "My Plans." From here, click the "Manage Reservation" box to the right of your park day, and confirm there is a reservation for the park and date you desire. If you'd like to modify the park reservation for your whole party, choose "Select All." You should be able to modify all five park reservations from here, if there is park availability. And, done! You'll be on your way to the magic in no time!

Not only do you have a countdown to visit the Happiest Place on Earth, Joletta, but you will be staying at the most luxurious and convenient resort in all of Disneyland - the Grand Californian! How exciting! One of my very favorite lunch spots is the GCH Craftsman Grill located poolside at the Grand Californian. It's a beautiful oasis to enjoy a delicious Poke Bowl (which is the best item on the menu, in my opinion)! And while menus are subject to change, there are always good things to try!

I hope I was able to answer your question, Joletta, and you and your party have what you need to begin your Disneyland visit! If you have any additional questions that come up in your planning, please don't hesitate to ask me another question! I'd be happy to help! I'd love to share more of my tips and recommendations for a truly magical time in Disneyland, like maybe where to find the best seasonal treats or some strategies to make sure you hit all your top priorities.

    See you real soon!

    Warmest wishes,
    McCayla
