We are dvc members and booked our family of five in a one bedroom villa. The write up states bring your own bedding, no rollaways available. Where does the fifth person sleep?

    Hi Patricia,

One of the great advantages of staying at a Disney Vacation Club resort is the ability to sleep many guests in one villa.  I cannot think of a reason that you would need to bring your own bedding.  The villas all have everything you need to sleep the number of guests that they accommodate.

While many one-bedroom Disney Vacation Club villas can sleep five guests, there are some that sleep four guests.  The one-bedroom villas that can accommodate five guests are at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village, The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and Disney's Old Key West Resort.  Also most, but not all, of the one-bedroom villas at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Jambo House will sleep five guests.  These one-bedroom villas which sleep five guests have a king bed in the bedroom, a pull-out queen sofa bed, and a chair that pulls out into a single-size bed.  Linens and bedding for all of the sleeping surfaces are provided.

I suggest that you check to be sure you are booked at one of the resorts above if you are expecting to sleep five guests in a one-bedroom villa.  If you are booked at The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, Disney's BoardWalk Villas, Disney's Beach Club Villas, or some villas at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Jambo House, you will only be able to have four guests in the villa.

One exception to this rule is that a child under three years old does not count toward the total guest count.  So in a villa for five guests, you could have five guests plus a child under three years old.  In a villa for four guests, you could have four guests plus a child under three years old.  Pack 'n Plays are available for those littlest guests.

I hope that this information is helpful, Patricia.  Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
