We are dvc members and annual pass holders. We have a trip booked for Feb7-11 and noticed there is a special ticketed event scheduled at magic kingdom on Feb 9. What is that event and how do you get tickets

Hi there, Tracy, and thanks so much for visiting planDisney with your question. I hope you are having the Best Day Ever--it's a dream to help a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member!

February is a great time to visit Walt Disney World Resort--the weather is usually a bit cooler and there is plenty to see and do all around the parks. I investigated the mysterious "special ticketed event" taking place at Magic Kingdom Park on February 9 and learned that it is a private event, so tickets are not available to Guests to attend. You will of course be able to visit the Magic Kingdom on that date leading up to the event.

Fear not, Tracy! Here's some other suggestions for a fun evening at The Most Magical Place on Earth:
    1. Use your Annual Pass to park hop for a delightful evening at the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. There are culinary masterpieces to taste, interactive experiences to explore your inner artist, and a nightly concert series featuring Broadway stars performing favorite Disney songs under the stars!
    2. Take a boat from the Magic Kingdom to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground to catch the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. It combines a country feast with a hilarious show--my girls are teenagers now but are never too cool for this experience!
    3. Check out the current Member Benefits available exclusively for Disney Vacation Club Members! I always peruse the shopping and dining discounts and try to expand my culinary horizons by trying a new restaurant.
    4. Visit Disney Springs to take in the amazing Cirque du Soleil show Drawn to Life, which combines beloved Disney stories and animation with the mind-blowing talents of the Cirque du Soleil performers.
Tracy, I hope you have the most magical vacation at Walt Disney World! We're always here at planDisney with pixie dust at the ready if you need any additional assistance.

    Welcome Home!
