Disney Vacation Club Member brings such joy to my life. Knowing that my family's next magical adventure is always right around the corner is priceless, and planning Disney vacations with my DVC Membership is my favorite pastime. No matter how many times I add Vacation Points to my Membership, my love for planning and booking magical DVC vacations always leaves me needing more Points! I'm always in a perpetual state of
borrowing Points, so, I'm more than happy to answer your question about borrowing today.
At this time, the temporary borrowing restriction, which states that Members can only borrow up to 50 percent of their next Use Year's Vacation Points, is still in effect. However, I spoke with a super helpful Cast Member with DVC Member Services who assured me that the DVC inventory is constantly being re-evaluated and the policy is constantly being reassessed, with returning to the standard policy of being able to borrow up to 100 percent of Points as the ultimate goal.
I recommend keeping an eye on
the DVC website and
Disney Parks Blog to watch for the news of the return to the original policy as soon as it drops. I'll be wishing upon every evening star that we can borrow more Points soon!
