Ahoy, Jaynarain!
There's nothing I love more than getting to chat with fellow Disney Vacation Club Members here at planDisney. Thanks for stopping by with your question! Doesn't Disney Cruise Line's newest ship, the
Disney Wish, look absolutely incredible?! My fellow Panelists, Adrianna H. and Andrew H., just returned from one the Wish's maiden voyages and after seeing all their pictures, I'm ready to run out and book a cruise, too! I'm so excited to hear that you're thinking of using your Vacation Points to set sail with the Disney Wish next year –– I have a feeling that big adventures are headed your way!
Great news! Disney Vacation Club has just released the Points Charts for its
Fall 2023 itineraries, which include dates all the way through December 2023. And the best part? The
Member early booking period opens on July 27, 2022, so you're just in time to secure a spot for a Membership adventure on the high seas. Once you're ready to begin the booking process, all you'll need to do is give
Member Services a call at 800-8009-8000 to check availability and request a reservation. Once you receive word that your reservation has been confirmed, you'll be able to view your booking on disneycruiseline.com to start fine-tuning all the details for your upcoming trip.
You'll also want to keep in mind that booking a DVC voyage with Disney Cruise Line is a little different than booking a traditional Disney Vacation Club Reservation, so I'm happy to share a few details that can help you throughout the process. First, each confirmed Disney Cruise Line reservation requires a non-refundable $95 transaction fee, due at the time the reservation is confirmed. If this payment isn't received at the time of confirmation, Disney Vacation Club reserves the right to cancel your reservation, so I definitely recommend making that payment as soon as possible. Also, Disney Cruise Line reservations are a Disney Collection Exchange option that falls under the
Rule of Four –– this means that you won't be able to make a reservation during the last four months of your Use Year if you'll be traveling during the same year. However, if your travel dates fall during the next Use Year (which is likely the case for a December 2023 sailing), you're welcome to book your reservation during those last four months of the current Use Year.
I hope this helped answer your question about booking a sailing on the Disney Wish through Disney Vacation Club, Jaynarain, and I really appreciate you visiting planDisney. If you think of new planning questions as your upcoming adventure with Disney Cruise Line approaches, I hope you'll stop by again –– we're always here to help!
SEA Ya Real Soon,
Amy
