    I am a dvc member and I was wondering if children are allowed at the top of the world lounge

    Eek! I seriously squealed with excitement when I heard the news that Top of the World Lounge atop Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort is reopening! This eligible Member-exclusive Lounge is my favorite spot in all of Walt Disney World Resort to grab a cocktail and small plates, enjoy stunning sunset views, and watch the fireworks from Magic Kingdom Park. I'm so excited to hear that the re-imagined, spell-tacular Lounge with a new name, Top of the World Lounge - A Villains Lair, will be reopening during your upcoming stay, and I'm thrilled to answer your question today.

    I think you will be happy to hear that yes, just like most of the other Walt Disney World Resort lounges, the kiddos are allowed to join in on this fantastic experience. Ever since my daughter was itty bitty, she has hung out at Top of the World Lounge, either taking a little evening nap in her stroller or munching on a flatbread pizza. One of my very favorite Disney memories is holding my daughter while watching the fireworks with my wife from the outside observation deck at Top of the World Lounge on the first night of our first stay as DVC Members. It was nothing short of magical, and that was when I knew that there was something extra special about Membership.

    To access Top of the World Lounge, first, make sure that you have your digital Membership Card downloaded from the My Disney Experience app into your smartphone's digital wallet. The Lounge opens at 6:00 p.m., but check-in begins at 5:45 p.m. To check in, just stop by the Top of the World Lounge desk in the lobby on the first floor of Bay Lake Tower and present your DVC Card and a photo ID to the Cast Member. They will happily escort you or direct you to the Lounge on the 16th floor and then, you'll be chillin' like a villain!
