If you are a DVC member can you while using your points also do a grand gathering. I am planning a vacation with 3 of my childrens familys so we will need 3-4 rooms and was wondering how I could make sure we were together, same floor, etc.

    Hi Linda,

Yes, you can have your group designated as a Grand Gathering. Just call Member Services and request a Grand Gathering number for your party. Once you have been assigned that number, you can call 407-WDW-PLAN to reserve any of the Experiences including the Safari Celebration Breakfast, the Good Morning Gathering or the International Dinner & IllumiNations Dessert Reception. These are for parties of 8 or more Guests.

As far as requesting that your rooms be together, you can put that request in when making your reservations. In addition, you can call the Resort directly, 9 days prior to your arrival. You'll ask to speak with the Room Assigner at that point and ask them to place you all in adjoining rooms. While it is never guaranteed, they do their best to honor requests.

Hope this helps and have a Magical vacation,
