Royal Greetings, Margaret!
Welcome Home and welcome to planDisney! How exciting that your practically perfect
Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just on the horizon. Your little Mouseketeer is going to have a wonderful time because there is something for every age at Disney! As I always say, you are never too young (or old) for Disney!
Margaret, we brought our kids to Walt Disney World Resort annually since my oldest was three months old (he is now 14!) So, we have had a lot of experience with babies and toddlers on our vacations, especially with
Disney Vacation Club Resorts. But, to be sure, I did some checking and learned that the Pack 'n' Plays are standard in the rooms (including the Villas). It is the standard dimensions of a Pack 'n' Play so we used to travel with a Pack 'n' Play sheet. The Resort does offer sheets for them though, so you can certainly use the one provided or request one if it isn't already in the room (usually they are stored in the closet.)
You can
put in a request for a traditional crib, pending availability, if you prefer one. When we stayed in a three-bedroom Grand Villa with my twin infants, we requested (and received) two traditional cribs. However, as I mentioned, it depends on if they are available. I would recommend calling Reservations or Member Services (if you are a Disney Vacation Club Member) to put that request on your account in advance of your stay. If, when you arrive, the crib isn't in your room, you can ask the Front Desk if one can be delivered.
High chairs are available upon request, but I have been in Disney Vacation Club Villas where they were already there in the closet. Again, if you arrive and don't see one, you can call down to the Front Desk and request one for your room. Typically, though, the high chairs they bring are the wooden ones you see in the restaurants.
If you are looking for a more traditional high chair with a tray or a guaranteed crib, there are baby rental services in the area that may be able to bring them to your Resort. We rented baby gear when my tot was little and these companies can bring a range of baby and toddler gear needs to you for your vacation, which just helps make your stay a bit easier. A few to consider are Baby Quip, Kingdom Strollers, and Rent Baby Gear of Orlando. I have seen Kingdom Strollers deliver to the Resorts, so I know they are a company that other Guests have used.
I hope this helps you, Margaret! If you have any additional Disney Vacation Club questions, stop back and see me here and I'll be so happy to help you!
Have fun making magical memories!
Keri
