Hi. DVC member here. Trying to save $ I wanted to cook meals during our 7 day stay using the full kitchen in the 2bdrm Villas. Is it cheaper if I ship a box with food to the resort or if I drive to the local grocery store & buy food?

If you have a car, I would wait and do your shopping once you arrive Orlando. My suggestion would be to stop at the local Super Wal-Mart. My family stopped here for bottled water on our way to WDW this past weekend.

I ran MapQuest directions from the airport to the Walmart at 3250 Vineland Road in Kissimmee. After our stop, it was a short drive to the WDW property. Again, MapQuest directed us from the Super Wal-Mart to our resort.

Shipping the food will require the cost of the delivery plus you will be unable to pick up heavy items such as bottled water or cold storage items such as milk.

Enjoy the 2 bedroom villa. They are spacious and love the convenience!
