Hey There, Kelly!
As a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member, I'm happy to say "Welcome Home" to planDisney! Thanks so much for dropping by with your question today. Can you believe that you'll be arriving at the
Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge in just a few weeks? After all that planning, the wait is almost over!
As you're finishing up the final items on your to-do list over the next few weeks, be sure to open up the
My Disney Experience mobile app, tap on "Future Plans" and double-check to see that you've made your
Disney Park Pass reservations for each day that you plan to visit a Walt Disney World theme park. Remember, you'll need valid admission
and a theme park reservation to enter one of the four parks. Once you've confirmed that those have been made, you'll be ready to hit the ground running when you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort!
And speaking of items on your to-do list, it sounds like you're planning to have a few items shipped directly to the Resort for your visit. Like you, I think this is a great way to make sure you have everything you need on hand during your stay without overloading your luggage and things like sunscreen, toiletries, rain ponchos, and even a portable charger are just a few of the things my family has had delivered to our
Disney Vacation Club Resort in the past. So yes, you can absolutely have a package deleted directly to your Resort –– just be sure to have the package addressed to "Guest (name on the reservation)" and use the Resort's main entrance as the delivery address (plus, keep in mind that there will be a small fee for this service). Once you arrive, simply stop by the Front Desk to collect your package.
In addition to having packages shipped to your Resort, another great way to make sure you have everything you need in your DVC Villa is to have groceries delivered to the Resort, as well. You can use any grocery delivery service that you'd like and Bell Services will even be happy to accept your delivery for you –– including refrigerated items –– and store it until you're ready to pick it up (just keep in mind that Bell Services can't accept delivery of age-restricted items, so if your order includes things like alcohol, you'll need to be present during delivery to show your photo ID). Personally, I like to schedule my grocery deliveries for the morning we're scheduled to arrive at Walt Disney World –– that way, everything is ready and waiting for us at the Resort. If you're like my family and enjoy having plenty of snacks in the room after a long day in the parks, be sure to give this a try during your visit!
Thanks so much for visiting planDisney, Kelly. I'm wishing you safe travels and plenty of pixie dust during your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
See Ya Real Soon,
Amy
