I am a DVC member and will be staying at Copper Creek - I was wanting more information about watching the fireworks at the Observation deck at Bay Tower and what would be good timings to reserve Chef Mickey's and then watch the fireworks

Season's greetings to you, Mona from the other coast of Canada!

I am so happy to hEAR you have an upcoming Disney Vacation Club vac planned at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. I have already visited this latest addition to the Disney Vacation Club Resort portfolio several times, and let me assure you...it is terrific. With an impressive mix of rustic charm and modern touches, and close proximity to Magic Kingdom, it is a wonderful place to stay while visiting Walt Disney World.

Mona, I think your plan of an evening spent having dinner at Chef Mickey's followed by a viewing of the fireworks at Top of the World Lounge at Bay Lake Tower is a terrific idea! Definitely be sure to book your dinner reservation at Chef Mickey's early (up to 180 days prior to your Resort check-in date) as this is a very popular dining location which tends to fill fast. I suggest planning your reservation for at least 2.5 hours prior to the scheduled Happily Ever After nightly fireworks at Magic Kingdom. This will ensure you have plenty of time to enjoy your delicious buffet meal and Disney Character interactions at Chef Mickey's without being rushed.

After finishing your meal at Chef Mickey's simply take the Skyway Bridge connecting Disney's Contemporary Resort with Bay Lake Tower, and make your way to the check in desk for Top of the World Lounge in the main lobby of Bay Lake Tower. Remember to bring your Disney Vacation Club membership card, as access to the Lounge is available only to Disney Vacation Club members and guests staying with them at a Disney Resort.

    Wishing you a MAGICAL evening!
