Hi there, Lori!
Welcome to planDisney! I’m happy to assist a fellow
Disney Vacation Club Member with a question about Walt Disney World Resort. It looks like your vacation is nearly here, so let’s dive in.
As an international DVC Member, I usually fly to Orlando, but when my family drives the 23+ hours, I appreciate the added flexibility for traveling within Walt Disney World Resort. As a DVC Member staying onsite, you will receive complimentary standard parking at the theme parks, in addition to complimentary overnight parking at your resort.
When visiting a resort different from where you are staying, unfortunately, you may not park there unless you have an advanced dining reservation. This reservation allows you to park at the resort for up to three hours, leaving ample time to shop and explore.
If you’d like to use Disney Transportation to get to the BoardWalk area, you have a few options. You could drive to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and then take the Disney Skyliner to the International Gateway entrance of EPCOT. Alternatively, you could park at EPCOT, but this involves a longer walk, as you’ll first need to reach the International Gateway before heading to the BoardWalk area.
I hope this information is helpful for your planning, Lori. Wishing you a wonderful vacation at The Most Magical Place on Earth! Please visit
planDisney again if you have any other questions.
Enjoy making magical memories,
Candace
