Hi Megan,
It appears that you and I share a similar taste in hotels.
Disney's Wilderness Lodge is my favorite resort in the entire world. It is a truly magical escape to the Pacific Northwest right in the middle of Florida. I swear that my blood pressure drops as I motor up Timberline Drive. The stunning lobby transports me to a whole different state of mind. Have you seen it? It is so inspiring.
As you probably already know,
Disney's Copper Creek Villas & Cabins is the newest addition to the accommodations available at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. My husband, son, and I stayed there in a one-bedroom villa overlooking Copper Creek Springs Pool over spring break in March. From our fifth floor balcony, we could see Fire Rock Geyser erupt on the hour and observe the various water launches pick up guests en route to
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Magic Kingdom Park. I couldn't imagine a more magical place to stay on Walt Disney World Resort property (except, maybe, one of the Cascade Cabins at this resort. That is definitely on my bucket list!)
Although Disney's Copper Creek Villas & Cabins is a Disney Vacation Club (DVC) resort, you do not need to be a member of DVC to stay there. If there are villas at any DVC property available for cash reservations at the time of booking, and there often are, you are welcome to make a reservation to stay there. I do hope you get the chance to do so. If you do, be sure to enjoy at least one meal or tasty beverage at Geyser Point Bar & Grill. It offers fabulous food and an amazing view of Bay Lake.
Wishing you many magical memories,
Jill
