    Do you have to be a DVC member to reserve a room at the Bay Lake Tower resort?

    Hi Kendra,

     

    You do not have to be a Disney Vacation Club member to book a villa at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort.  You can reserve these rooms at disneyworld.com or by calling 407-934-7639.  Online you are able to book a resort until December 31, 2012.  If you need to book in 2013, please call and talk with a Cast Member.  Bay Lake Tower is an amazing place to stay.  It is located on the Monorail which is such a time saver when going to Epcot or the Magic Kingdom.  Plus, you are right next door to The Contemporary with fantastic restaurants such as The Wave and Chef Mickey's.  The Studios are bigger than standard rooms in other resorts and have a microwave and refrigerator in the room.  The one bedroom villas are so much fun to stay in!  They are very spacious and sleep five very comfortably.   You have a full kitchen and washer and dryer which comes in handy.  Some of the rooms will have a view of the Magic Kingdom fireworks show "Wishes."  These fireworks are my favorite and to be able to see them from the comfort of your room is so fantastic!  I hope you have a magical vacation, Kendra!  Please send me a follow up question if I can help you further.
