Can a DVC member paying cash to stay at any other WDWZ Resort (such as Pop Century) go to the Top of the World Lounge at Bay Lake Tower?

Hi there Meghan, welcome back to planDisney!

It’s a great day when I have the opportunity to chat with a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member and I love talking about Member Benefits such as access to the DVC Member Lounge at EPCOT in the Imagination! Pavilion, the Top of the World Lounge - A Villains Lair atop Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and Starview Station - A Member Lounge at Disneyland Resort.

Great news, Meghan, I spoke with DVC Services as well as a Cast Member at the Welcome Center at Disney Springs and both confirmed that a DVC Member can visit the Top of the World Lounge - A Villains Lair even when not staying at a DVC Resort and not using Vacation Points. Both Cast Members recommended head to the Lounge early as it is first-come-first-served and on busy nights, it can fill up quickly. If you’re looking for something to snack on while you’re waiting for the fireworks to begin, I highly recommend the 7 Lair cake, it’s delicious!

I hope you have a fantastic vacation to Walt Disney World Resort and that you’re able to make it to the lounge to view Happily Ever After while listening to the heart-swelling soundtrack that goes along with the one-of-a-kind nighttime spectacular.
