DVC Member here. I have a hardworking Mom friend visiting Disneyland next week (not on my points). I'd love to surprise her with a Disney Gift or experience as a thank you. Any suggestions? Open to ideas before the trip at home or while there.

    Hello, LeeAnn!

Thank you for stopping by planDisney. As a DVC member, I'm sure you love Disney destinations as much as I do! Have you stayed at The Villas at Disneyland Hotel yet? If not, you should check it out! The rooms are adorable, and it is a short walk to the Disneyland Monorail

I would normally suggest booking a special dining reservation or experience, such as a Fantasmic! Dining Package or Disney's Happiest Haunts Guided Tour. Goofy's Kitchen is also celebrating Halloween with festive food, and Storytellers Cafe is hosting Mickey’s Autumn Adventures Breakfast Buffet. However, reservations need to be made up to 60 days in advance, and it may be difficult to find availability at this point. It never hurts to check (and keep checking), though!

Instead, I recommend purchasing a Disney Gift Card, which can be used at most dining and merchandise locations throughout Disneyland Resort. Maybe include a cute pair of Minnie Ears or a MagicBand+ with the Disney Gift Card! The Disney Store has some adorable choices!

If your friend is staying at a Disneyland Resort hotel, you might be able to order an In-Room Celebration surprise! The last time I checked, they had many fun options that would bring a smile to her face. Just call the phone number listed on the In-Room Celebration page to discuss ideas with a helpful Cast Member.

LeeAnn, thank you for being such a thoughtful friend! I'm sure your friend will love whatever gift you choose!

    Magic Happens!
