I am a DVC member and a Disney Visa card holder. I have read that you can Character Meet 'N' Greet Photo Opportunity with some of your favorite Disney Characters including a keepsake photo. How do I do this? Can I also get somthing special for being in DVC

    Jessica:

As a Disney Visa card holder, you are absolutely right that you get perks--and one of those is a free 5 x 7 Character photo at Epcot (not to mention a short line)!

The location last week was the same as when our family visited last October: the Innovations West building.  Beware: it's a little hidden, and you may have to ask a cast member how to find it!  It was open from 1:30 to 4:30 in the afternoon.  We showed our Disney Visa, signed in, and were handed a photo voucher.

Our picture was taken and put on a PhotoPass card.  From there, we went to the Camera Center near the exit, chose a border for our picture on the computer screen and a minute later were handed our free photo with Mickey!  A nice treat--and worth the extra effort to find!

    Wishing you a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Whitney, Mississippi

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
