    I am a DVC member and have decided to purchase the GOLD annual passes for the 1st time. I noticed that I can purchase passes for those family members living with me. Do all family members need to be present to activate the passes?

    I hope you are enjoying your Disney Vacation Club membership, and taking full advantage of the many enhanced Member Benefits offered this yEAR! With so many benefits and experiences offered to members this year, like the Moonlight Magic events, the Member Lounge at Epcot, and enhanced discounts on dining and merchandise offered as part of Membership Magic Ever After, it truly is a great time to be a Disney Vacation Club member!

    The Walt Disney World Resort Gold Annual Pass available exclusively to both Disney Vacation Club members and Florida residents is another great perk! In addition to providing access to all four Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks for one year (subject to limited blockout dates from December 18, 2017 to January 2, 2018 and March 24 to April 6, 2018), the Gold Annual Pass also includes unlimited Disney PhotoPass downloads. In fact, I thought it was such a great deal I recently purchased my own Gold Annual Pass!

    I contacted Disney on your behalf and confirmed that the Disney Vacation Club member and all family members living in their immediate household who will be purchasing a Gold Annual Pass do have to be present when initially activating the Passes.
