DVC member, debating between dining plan versus tables in wonderland? Also do the participating restaurants for tables in wonderland generally stay the same year to year? Thanks as always!

    Hi Lesley,

This is the first year that Disney Vacation Club Member are able to obtain a Tables in Wonderland card, and I got mine in June.  My family saved so much money on our trip as 20% off meals at over 90 Table Service restaurants and beverages including alcohol adds up quickly.  I think that it only took a few meals to make up the $75 cost of the card.  I think this is an excellent  card to get if you are going to Walt Disney World for a week or more or are going back even one more time in a calendar year.  The Disney Dining Plan is economical if you use all of your Table Service credits every day.  Sometimes, my family doesn't want to spend the time doing this.  The restaurants included in Tables in Wonderland generally stay the same from year to year, and if anything, they increase the number of the ones participating.  So if you are going to have one Quick Service meal, one Table Service meal, and one snack daily, I think I would lean more towards getting the Disney Dining Plan.  Thank you so much for the question, Lesley!  Let me know if I can help you in any other way.
