Hi! I am a DVC member and my daughter wants to travel in February 2017 with her husband and their daughter. Do they need a DVC member in their party in order to stay?

    Hi Digna,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. How kind of you to let your daughter and her family use your Disney Vacation Club points to travel! I am sure they will have a wonderful vacation through your generosity.

Your daughter and her family can travel using your Disney Vacation Club vacation points. They do not need to have a Disney Vacation Club member in their party to do so. You will need to make the reservation for them and handle things through Disney Vacation Club since you are the member. Anything that needs to be done through Disney Vacation Club Member Services, such as if you choose to make the reservation by phone or add a dining plan to the reservation, you will need to do since only a Disney Vacation Club member can call Disney Vacation Club Member Services. The phone number is 1-800-800-9800. You can also check the Disney Vacation Club member website to check which resorts have availability for the travel dates that your daughter is considering.

I hope that this information is helpful for you, Digna! Please do let us know if you have any further questions.
