I am a DVC member considering buying a gold AP. I will have a magic band on my next trip, and will link it in MDE. Do I still need to check in at Guest Services the first day I use the pass?

Hi Kevin! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. The new Disney Gold Annual Pass now comes with the incredible bonus of Memory Maker! So all your Disney PhotoPass photos are now included with your Disney Gold Annual Pass from the first valid date of your pass until your pass expires. It's automatic once you link your annual pass to your My Disney Experience account.

Since the Disney Gold Annual Pass is exclusively available for Florida residents and Disney Vacation Club members, you'll need to show your valid ID and membership card at Guest Services before your first use.

Remember the Disney Gold Annual Pass has the following blackout dates: December 17, 2015 - January 1, 2016 and March 19, 2016 - April 1, 2016.

Wishing you many magical and memorable Disney vacations with your Disney Gold Annual Pass!
