Robert from NY Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I am a DVC member. Just bought 4 annual passes for me, my son, my daughter and her fiancée. They are all on my family and friends list. I put his address on his pass which is different from ours. Will this be a problem? What could happen if it is?

Welcome home, Robert! Thanks for visiting planDisney--it's always a great day when I get to chat with a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member, and I'm happy to help with your vacation planning question today.

There are so many great benefits to being a DVC Member that it would take my entire allotment of words for this answer to list them all! From deluxe accommodations to exclusive events like Moonlight Magic to a rotating roster of Member Benefits for dining, shopping, and more, there are plenty of reasons why I always say we've never regretted our decision to join Disney Vacation Club!

One current perk for Members is the ability to purchase the Sorcerer Pass, a discounted iteration of the Walt Disney World Annual Pass only available for DVC Members and Florida residents. Robert, unfortunately, you cannot purchase Sorcerer Passes for family and friends who neither live at your address nor are listed on the Membership.

When you attempt to activate Sorcerer Passes, you need to show proof that the passholders share the same address as the Member, and/or proof that they are listed on the Membership. If you cannot prove either scenario, you will need to pay the difference to update the pass to an Incredi-Pass

Robert, I'm sorry this wasn't the answer you were hoping for, but hopefully, you and your family will find plenty of Membership Magic during your upcoming vacation. I was very excited to see the announcement on the official Disney Vacation Club Instagram yesterday announcing the new "Gateway to Discovery", a DVC Welcome Center at Disney Springs. A new Member Lounge will open later this spring--maybe even in time for your April visit!

Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney, Robert. Please feel free to reach out to me directly if I can answer any additional questions for you!
