Craig from UT Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I am a DVC member at the Aulani. I am trying to grab a reservation at Grand California. Do you know what time and time zone the DVC reservation system rolls to the next day?

"Welcome home," Craig and thanks for bringing your question to planDisney where we are more whimsical than Alice's Wonderland and more excited to chat with guests than The Mad Hatter!

Craig, as a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member, I understand the importance of being prepared for your booking window to open, particularly when you have a specific Disney Vacation Club Resort in mind. So let's talk about how to ensure you aren't yelling, "I'm late! I'm late" For a very important date!"

Craig, officially the online booking window opens at 8:00 AM Eastern Time, so as a guest further west, it looks like you'll need to find the cup of coffee that says "Drink Me" quite early that morning! Craig, I also encourage you to log into your Disney Vacation Club account and pull up your "My Dashboard" a few minutes before 8:00 AM EST so that you can search as soon as possible. If for some reason Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dum have confounded the system and there is no availability for your desired dates at The Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, I encourage you to keep checking back daily as Members sometimes change plans and previously unavailable resorts could pop up.

Craig, I hope this helps as you are planning a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth. And... if you find yourself "curiouser and curiouser" with another question, I hope you'll know which way to go and head back to planDisney.

    Best of luck!

My husband and I became Disney Vacation Club Members because we love visiting the Disney Parks and with hectic day-to-day schedules, wanted to prioritize time away for our family. The options at the Walt Disney World Resort make each trip unique and I am excited to help other families build vacations with those unforgettable moments.
