Hi there, Linda! Welcome to planDisney and Welcome Home, neighbor! I'm so glad that you've stopped by with your vacation planning question. It makes my day to chat Disney with a fellow
Disney Vacation Club Member and Annual Passholder!
Don't you just LOVE being a DVC Member and Walt Disney World Annual Passholder?! Being able to book a fabulous stay at one of the DVC Resorts with just the click of a button, make some
Theme Park Pass reservations and head to my happy place on a whim seriously brings joy to my everyday life. As a fellow DVC Member and Annual Passholder, I know that you understand! I also know that the magic calls you, too, and I am honored to answer your question today, friend. (Disney friends make the BEST friends!)
As a
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder, you have up until 30 days after the Pass expiration to renew. If your Pass expires in June 2022, you will have until July 2022 (30 days after expiration) to renew, and then, you will not be eligible for renewal. So, for your December 2023 Walt Disney World Resort vacation, you would have to purchase a new Annual Pass. Just be aware that right now, while current Passholders can renew their Annual Passes, the sales of new Annual Passes have been paused. Since the
Annual Pass page on the My Disney Experience website states that the sales have been paused, I am assuming that sales will eventually resume again (hopefully soon!). However, that is definitely something to consider when you are deciding whether or not to renew.
Linda, I hope this was helpful, friend! Stop by with any vacation planning or DVC questions you may have. You've got a friend in me!
I hope to see ya real soon,
Mandy
