Heigh-ho, heigh-ho, it's off to Walt Disney World you go, Mary! I can't think of a better way to kick off the holiday season than with a visit to my favorite theme park,
EPCOT. Now let's get you there!
During
the current phase of reopening, all Guests wishing to visit the Walt Disney World theme parks must make a reservation in advance using the
Disney Park Pass system. This online booking tool is accessed through your
My Disney Experience account. As long as your Annual Pass is valid and linked, you are only a few clicks away from a day of futuristic fun and international adventures.
From the My Disney Experience dropdown menu on
the main page, select "Disney Park Pass System." You'll then click on "Make a Theme Park Reservation" and be prompted to choose any friends and family members that will be joining you. Once you have created your party, select the date and theme park you plan to visit.
As of today, EPCOT is available for your desired date.
Additionally, to enter any theme park at this time, you will be subject to a temperature check upon arrival. Any Guest with a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher may not enter, so be sure to take inventory of your health before heading out for the day. Don't forget to
pack your favorite face covering, as these are required to be worn at all times unless dining in a
restaurant or enjoying food and beverage in a stationary, physically distant location. When I was in EPCOT a few weeks ago, I was pleased by the number of tables situated throughout World Showcase for travelers to rest and savor the culinary delights available during this festive time. You'll be visiting just in time to sample the seasonal treats cooked up for the
Taste of EPCOT® International Festival of the Holidays.
Mary, I hope this helps set you up for a wonderful weekend. As fellow
Disney Vacation Club members, my family and I have enjoyed returning home to the Most Magical Place on Earth this summer and fall. Now more than ever, a little dose of Disney magic and a sprinkle of pixie-dust are just what we need!
Wishing you a safe and happy holiday season,
Betsy
