Hi, I am a DVC member for almost 30 years. I am going to Disney with my 5 adult children and spouses August 12-19 2028. I am looking for a few unique and "out of the norm" things to do. Thank you

    Hi Jeanne,

Thanks so much for sending me your fantastic question! I love sharing ideas for ways to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation extra special. As a Disney Vacation Club Member myself, I know how important it is to keep it fun and exciting for everyone with new experiences each time.

Have you tried the Wild Africa Trek yet? This past October I took my (almost) 70-year old mom, four of my five children, and my extended family on this exciting safari adventure. It was definitely a highlight of the trip for all. I've enjoyed this tour several times, and each time offers a different experience.

What about a Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing? I have enjoyed this special treat with several of my children and my oldest son went with his girlfriend recently as well. The Frozen Ever After Sparkling Dessert Party at Epcot's IlluniNations is another great choice.

A Specialty Fireworks Cruise such as one for Epcot's IllumiNations is another fun idea. I had the pleasure of experiencing this with a big group of Disney Parks Moms Panelists and we all had a blast!

I recommend that you take a moment to browse through Disney's Enchanting Extras Collection to see some of the wonderful unique opportunities. I hope you have a special time together.

    Wishing you magical memories,

    Kaylene
