I have a DVC Gold Annual Pass that will expire in June 2022. Will I be able to renew that? If so, when? And what is the cost?

    Hey There, Laura!

As a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member and Annual Passholder, let me welcome you to planDisney.  How exciting that it's almost time to renew your Annual Pass –– another year of magic at Walt Disney World Resort is "Just Around the Riverbend"! With the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary festivities underway, there's never been a more exciting time to be an Annual Passholder, so I'd love to share some details about the new Walt Disney World Annual Passholder program ahead of your upcoming renewal.

When the Walt Disney World Annual Passholder program was relaunched in 2021, it included the creation of a new pass tier just for Disney Vacation Club Members and Florida residents (similar to the now-retired Gold Annual Pass) –– the Disney Sorcerer Pass.  While sales of new Annual Passes were paused as of November 2021 for most tiers, including the Disney Sorcerer Pass, you'll be excited to hear that Annual Pass renewals are still available for current Passholders.  As a Florida non-resident, you'll be able to renew into two pass types –– the Disney Incredi-Pass (similar to the former Platinum Pass) and the Disney Sorcerer Pass.  Currently, the cost of renewal is $1,104 plus tax for the Disney Incredi-Pass and $764 plus tax for the Disney Sorcerer Pass, although this could change in the future –– be sure to visit the Walt Disney World Annual Passholder page for the latest pricing and details.  You can renew your Annual Pass online up to 60 days before and 30 days after its expiration date, as well as by calling (407) 560-7277 or visiting Guest Relations at any Walt Disney World theme park or Disney Springs.

Before your next visit, you'll also want to be sure to download your new Disney Vacation Club Digital Membership Card, so you won't miss a moment of Membership magic during your stay.  You can download the card by opening the My Disney Experience mobile app on your smartphone and signing in with the Disney Account linked to your DVC Membership.  From there, you'll be able to download your Disney MagicMobile pass (which will act as your new Membership Card) right to your device's mobile wallet.  It's like opening up "A Whole New World" of Member Benefits right from your smartphone –– I think you're going to love it!

Thanks for visiting planDisney, Laura.  If you think of other questions as you plan your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation, please visit us again –– we're always here to help!

    Have a Magical Day,
