runDisney event is at the tippy top of my Disney to-do list! While I have yet to do one of these magical races, I love running and LOVE running in Walt Disney World Resort! I always find myself checking the runDisney event dates and trying to decide which event will be my first. To be quite honest, the reason I haven't done one of these pixie-dusted events yet is that I always seem to just miss the registration dates, so, I am happy to answer your question today so that you are ready to register as soon as you can!
Unfortunately, early registration for runDisney events is no longer offered as a
Disney Vacation Club Membership perk. You can, however, qualify for guaranteed registration for select races with certain Club runDisney Membership levels. How cool is that?!
Club runDisney is available in three year-long membership levels and offers other awesome benefits and perks, such as an oh-so-cool Membership Welcome Package with a member jacket, magnet and membership card, and year-round Tier One pricing for available runDisney races. Cindy, also informed me that Club runDisney members, besides getting the coveted early registration for races, also get early entry into the Expos, as well as private tent areas before and after the races. DVC discounts are always subject to change, right now, DVC Members do still get discounts on the runDisney merchandise! Woohoo!
