We are a DVC family of 4 and we are taking my inlaws on their first trip to WDW for Christmas. We are staying Dec 21st- Dec 26th @OKW. We are also going to visit again in Oct 2018 with a bigger group of 9 people. Is getting TIW card worth it for me to buy?

    Hi Jeffrey,

It sounds like you have some wonderful Disney Vacation Club holidays on the horizon, with a stay this Christmas at Disney's Old Key West Resort followed by a fall vacation next year. With two upcoming Walt Disney World vacations in the span of a yEAR, you are smart to consider joining Tables in Wonderland.

Tables in Wonderland is available to Disney Vacation Club members, Disney World Resort Annual Passholders, and Florida residents and provides a 20% discount on food and beverages (including alcohol) at over 100 participating restaurants, bars and lounges throughout Walt Disney World. Membership for Disney Vacation Club members costs $150 and is valid for one year. The discount is available for parties up to 10 guests.

My family has saved considerably on our Walt Disney World dining costs with Tables in Wonderland. In order to break even, you will need to spend at least $750 on dining experiences at the participating food and beverage locations. From that point on, you will continue to save 20% on any further dining costs for the remainder of the year. Given that you will be traveling with a group of 6 guests in December, followed by a group of 9 guests next fall, I expect Tables in Wonderland provide you with some great savings!

Jeffrey, don't forget that Tables in Wonderland members also receive complimentary Resort Valet and Theme Park parking for dining purposes. From time to time Tables in Wonderland has also hosted some wonderful culinary special events open exclusively to members.

I hope this information is helpful to you Jeffrey. Wishing you a fantastic upcoming yEAR of Disney travel, and Bon Appétit!
