Hi there, Danny! Welcome to planDisney--it's always a treat to meet a fellow
Disney Vacation Club Member. I'm here to channel my inner Judy Hopps to track down an answer to your question so you can capture your vacation memories with Memory Maker from
Disney PhotoPass. Let's hop to it!
Having a DVC Membership and a Chase Disney Visa Card ensures you can enjoy a wide range of discounts and deals on all of your Disney adventures. I've been a longtime cardholder, and we've enjoyed all sorts of great benefits--not only in the theme parks and resorts, but also for
Disney on Broadway productions!
The Chase Visa also offers exclusive Cardmember photo opportunities at
Walt Disney World Resort and
Disneyland Resort. I visited some of my planDisney pals on the West Coast this summer and we had a really fun Character experience with Darth Vader in the members-only location.
Danny, I scanned the
Member Benefits section of the DVC website and it appears there is no discount currently offered on Memory Maker. As for the Chase card, the 10% merchandise discount that applies at select locations does not apply to Memory Maker or other PhotoPass purchases.
The best current pricing for Memory Maker is for an advance purchase made at least 3 days before your arrival ($185 instead of $210, subject to change). This magical option will give you access to all PhotoPass pictures taken during your vacation, including some fun Magic Shots. If you book a
Capture Your Moment session or a makeover at the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique separately, all of the pictures from those experiences will also appear in your Memory Maker.
I hope this information is just what you need for your planning purposes, Danny! Thanks for visiting planDisney, and please stop by anytime if we can help with additional vacation questions.
Stay Magical!
Susan
