    Hiya, Graeme!

Welcome to planDisney! Oh boy, I am so excited to help a fellow Disney Vacation Club neighbor. Thank you so much for stopping by with your excellent question. Graeme, don't you just love the flexibility of Disney Vacation Club Membership? Banking and borrowing Vacation Points sure add a whole new world to being able to vacation how you want and when you want, and it sure has made affordable family vacations possible for us year after year.

Graeme, as I can't see into your Disney Vacation Club account, I would recommend first logging into your Disney Vacation Club account and then under the "My DVC" tab, click on your Dashboard.  Here you can see your Vacation Points totals and what is available. There is a "Manage Vacation Points" link and then click on "View Transactions" that will take you to an area where you can view your Vacation Points activity statement. This may help you see where your recent use of 42 Vacation Points came from.

Graeme, according to the Disney Vacation Club Banking Rules, when you bank your Disney Vacation Club Points from one year to the next Use Year, they are available for use when your new Use Year begins.  You have one year to use your banked Vacation Points. For example, if you banked your unused 2022 Vacation Points into 2023, you will be able to use them starting December 1, 2023, and the banked Vacation Points will expire on November 30, 2024. There is a lot of helpful information on the Making the Most of Your Vacation Points page on the Disney Vacation Club website.

If you have further questions about your specific account, you can call Member Services who should be able to answer questions regarding your account.  They are so knowledgeable, and I like to think of them as Fairy Godmothers who are all-knowing and make magic happen for you!

I hope this helps you, Graeme.  If you have any further Disney Vacation Club questions, stop back and see me here and I'll be so happy to help.

    See ya real soon!
