During our WDW visit, my son will be turning 10 on the 30th. I was planning on taking him to Disney Quest that afternoon while we are at DS but learned it is now closed. He loves games and I am looking for an alternative plan. I have 4 hours to fill

    Hi, Christa!

Although Disney Quest is no longer open, there is still plenty of fun for you and the birthday boy to enjoy during your visit to Disney Springs. Make your first stop Guest Relations where you can pick up a complimentary birthday button so everyone knows you are there to celebrate!

While you will find enough magic to fill your day, here are some ideas for you to start with:

-Dining! There are lots of options for dining. One of my family's favorites is D-Luxe Burger. It is quick service, so no reservations needed, and you can even use Mobile Ordering to save time and avoid the line.

-Movies! Stop by AMC Movies to enjoy a movie and some tasty popcorn. A fun and relaxing way to spend a few hours.

-Shop! There is NO shortage of shopping with everything from your favorite Disney souvenirs to athletic clothing to shoes and luggage and more!

-Bowling! Splitsville Luxury Lanes is a super place to not only bowl but they have a full service restaurant with some delicious dining options.

-Amphicar! A boat plus a car equals lots of fun! A boat captain will take you out for a splashing good time for an awesome view of Disney Springs. Wave "HI" to all your adoring fans on shore!

So as you can see, there is plenty to do. Your 4 hours of time are going to fly by, so enjoy every minute!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
