Hi, Deborah!
I’m glad to hear you’ll be visiting The Happiest Place on Earth again this December. There’s nothing quite as magical as enjoying the theme parks when they’re all decked out for the holiday season!
The Candlelight Processional has been an annual tradition at the Disneyland Resort since 1955, and I bet it was a special experience to see it during your last visit. The 2014 Candlelight Processional is expected to be performed on only two nights at Disneyland Park during the first weekend in December, with two performances each night. Reserved seats for the event will likely be distributed by invitation only, so other Guests would likely have to scout out spots to view it from nearby areas from the park’s opening until the time of the Candlelight Processional in the evening.
In lieu of the Candlelight Processional, perhaps your family can enjoy the “Holiday Time at Disneyland” Tour to make your visit extra special. You’ll hear holiday tales from Disneyland Park history, experience seasonal attractions with little wait, and watch “A Christmas Fantasy Parade” from seats in a reserved viewing area while enjoying a delicious treat and warm beverage. Please call (714) 781-TOUR (8687) to reserve spots up to one month in advance.
I hope this helps, Deborah, and that you have a wonderful visit to the Disneyland Resort! Please write back with more questions as you continue to plan.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
