Hi Petra!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I totally understand that within your family/friends there are some days when you all wish to dine at different locations. This can be done. Firstly, if one of the group who wishes to dine separately from you sets up their own Disney Account - this will be prompted when a reservation is being made online - they can make their own independent reservations, availability permitting. A credit card will need to be held against this account, to secure any dining reservations. No charge will be made (unless it is a restaurant that requires payment in advance such as
Cinderella's Royal Table at Magic Kingdom Park, or
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort) unless there is a no-show or a late cancellation. Please note that all cancellations should be made at least 24 hours in advance, to avoid any charges. Alternatively if you wanted to control all the bookings, you could try making a separate reservation at a different restaurant 80-90 minutes later (or earlier) than your first booking. This could work if there is availability, and if this would fit in with your plans that day.
All dining reservations can be made
online, or by using your
My Disney Experience account.
Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World.
