Hi, during our vacation, we are checking in at the campsite at fort wilderness resort. Can we visit a park with emh before we check in later on in the day?

    Hello Sharon,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question.

Based on my experience, you should be able to experience Extra Magic Hours on the day of your arrival at the Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, prior to actually going over to your Resort for check-in. Please make sure that you have working MagicBands and that your Resort reservation is properly linked to your My Disney Experience account and you should be good to go!

That being said, I still recommend that you make time to visit your Resort, if at all possible, prior to staring your Disney Day. That way, you can make sure that your MagicBand is working properly and iron out any potential glitches with your Resort charging privileges and other “linking” issues that may arise. Sometimes, losing a few minutes of fun is worth it to prevent losing any time later.

Have a great vacation and please come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
