During our vacation, I have a breakfast reservation at Chef Mickey's for 7:20 am. We are staying at the All-Star Music resort. How exactly do we get from our resort to the Contemporary Resort? Also, does the bus system run this early? Thank you!

    Hi, Adrianna!

Breakfast at Chef Mickey's is one of my favorite meals in all of Walt Disney World!  My family has a tradition of eating breakfast at Chef Mickey's on the first morning of every Walt Disney World vacation we take together. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is so much fun!  We love visiting with Mickey and his pals as we watch the monorail glide by overhead.

One way to get from Disney's All-Star Music Resort to Disney's Contemporary Resort would be to take the bus from your resort hotel to Magic Kingdom Park.  Then from Magic Kingdom Park you could either walk or take the resort monorail to Disney's Contemporary Resort.  I would recommend that you first check the Walt Disney World website for the park hours for the date of your breakfast reservation.  Complimentary resort bus transportation begins 45 minutes prior to theme park opening times and the monorail begins running 30 minutes before the earliest park opening.  Depending on what time the parks open on the date of your reservation, the buses and monorails may not be operating early enough for you to utilize this option.

If that is the case, I would suggest using the Minnie Van Service.  You can request and pay for the Minnie Van Service using the Lyft app on your phone.  When you request a Minnie Van, a friendly Cast Member will arrive in an adorable red and white polka dot vehicle and drive you anywhere on Walt Disney World property.  It is a quick and convenient transportation option that especially comes in handy for those early morning breakfast reservations.

    Have a magical day!
