During our trip to Disney in August with a two year old, we are planning one day to MK and one to HS without PH. Is there enough for us to do at HS or should we add a PH for that day? Thanks for the advice!

    Elizabeth:

In my opinion, the park hopper add-on for $50 per person is not worth it for a visit as short as yours.  But even with that said, Disney Studios is one of the parks I recommend for my friends with toddlers because not only do they have a plethora of attractions for small fries (Playhouse Disney, Jedi Training, Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground to name a few) but they also have shows (Muppets in 3D, Beauty & the Beast, and the Little Mermaid) that appeal to that age group.

It also is a park featuring family attractions for everyone from Toy Story Midway Mania, Raiders of the Lost Ark, to the Great Movie Ride, and Cars, Motors, Action.  And the best part: many of the characters in the park come from the more recent Pixar movies that seem more recognizable to the younger generation.  Our family also loves the afternoon parade with favorites like Buzz Lightyear!

Although I don't think it will happen, if you find yourself getting board with the park, you can always take a break and catch the boat over to the Boardwalk--best of all, it's free!

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
