During my stay at the resort, is parking included?

Greetings, Jacqueline, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so excited for you to experience the magic of staying at a Disneyland Resort hotel. Let's make sure you're set for a smooth arrival!

The three Resort hotels offer self-parking for registered hotel Guests for an additional fee. At the time of writing this, self-parking is $45 per night per vehicle, plus tax. The Disneyland Hotel and the Grand Californian Hotel also offer valet parking for $75 per night per vehicle, plus tax. These costs are subject to change, so it's a good idea to check the website to confirm the rates. In my experience, parking charges are typically added to the room bill, and you can view the details in the itemized receipt that is emailed after checking out. You can also ask the Front Desk.

On the day you arrive, you can park your car ahead of your check-in time. That way, you can explore the grounds of the hotel, pop over to the Downtown Disney District, or even spend time in the theme parks while you wait for your room to be ready.

If you want to get a jumpstart on pool time, stop by the Front Desk to get a room key once you arrive. Even if your room isn't ready yet, you can use the key card to access the pool area while you wait. In that case, you could store your luggage with the Bell Desk, except for a bag that you'll keep with your swimsuits or a change of clothes. You can also do this on the day you check out, since your key card will work in the pool area until the end of the day. We did this during our last stay at the Disneyland Hotel, and it was a nice way to squeeze a little more magic out of our stay.

One of my favorite parts about staying at a Disneyland Resort hotel is the proximity to the theme parks. It's easy to head back to your room for a midday break. There are activities exclusively for hotel Guests, too – the complimentary Disneyland Hotel tour was fascinating, and you can join even if you are staying at one of the other Resort hotels. Reservations are required for this experience, so inquire with the Front Desk once you arrive.

Jacqueline, I hope you have a wonderful time visiting the Disneyland Resort. If you think of any other questions between now and then, please reach out – we're always happy to help here at planDisney!
