Hi there, Kathleen!
I can't think of a more magical, pixie-dusted way to celebrate a special occasion than with a visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth. Walt Disney World Resort is the perfect place for your princess to spend her birthday!
First things first, make sure to stop by the Front Desk at your resort hotel (or any
Guest Relations location) to pick up a Celebration Button for the birthday girl. She will be wished a Happy Birthday by Cast Members (and Guests, too!) throughout the day - it's so much fun! My daughters always love the extra attention and birthday wishes that Celebration Buttons bring.
There are several options when it comes to ordering a cake for your daughter's magical milestone:
1) Celebration cakes can be arranged for Guests with reservations at participating Table Service restaurants, and can pre-ordered for her special day. You can find out more about ordering a
specialty Celebration Cake, or request a cake by calling (407) WDW-DINE. Make sure to have your Advance Dining Reservation confirmation number handy. You can also call the Walt Disney World Cake Ordering Hotline at (407) 827-2253 to add a cake order to your dining reservation.
2) Guests of select
Disney Resorts Collection hotels may be able to use
Mobile Ordering in the
My Disney Experience app to pick up a Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake from an onsite Quick Service restaurant. I just checked to see what's offered at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, and it looks like
The Mara offers two versions of the Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake: Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Ganache and Chocolate Mousse with your choice of engraving options (feeds 4-6 Guests), and also a White Chocolate version as well.
3) If you're planning a visit to
Disney Springs, another option would be to pre-order a gorgeous cake from
Amorette's Patisserie. They have a large selection of cakes (all AMAZING), and you could pick one up to take back to your resort to enjoy! To place an order at Amorette's, call (407) 934-3500 or visit the store at least 72 hours in advance.
I hope this helps, and I hope your daughter has the most MAGICAL birthday ever!
