Hi Hannah!
Welcome to planDisney!
From my experience, if Magic Kingdom is hosting a party that evening, it doesn’t affect the security line. So, party guests and regular park guests will all go through the same security line.
But you’re right! There will be two separate lines at the turnstiles. So, after you make your way through security, be on the lookout for signs or Cast Members directing guests. If you have a party ticket, you’ll want to make sure you’re in the correct line so your ticket will work at the turnstiles and you’ll be able to get your wristband upon entering.
If you’ll be heading to this year’s
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, make sure to walk through the welcome area once you get in the park. That’s where you’ll pick up your trick-or-treating bag, and you might just spot some of your favorite characters from the
Boo-To-You Parade that you’ll get to watch later that evening.
Speaking of treats, before the party, make sure to check out this year’s
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Foodie Guide. Not only will you get plenty of candy while trick-or-treating, but there are so many party-exclusive food items that look delicious. I always love to grab one or two to try while we're waiting for the parade or fireworks to start.
I hope you have the best trip! If you have any other questions, feel free to come back and visit us.
