Ahoy there, Ashley!
Thanks for sailing back to planDisney! I hope you're getting very excited for your upcoming cruise. You're almost ready to embark on a wonderful adventure!
I love that
Disney's Oceaneer Club offers
open house hours so that adults can come and enjoy some of the most unique and magical areas on Disney Cruise Line Ships! Keep an eye on the daily schedule in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, because it's also possible that some open house times will be sprinkled throughout your cruise (especially in the mornings on days that the ship is in port). Families can enjoy exploring the themed areas, try their hand at activities like video games, and enjoy other interactive experiences. There may also be crafts or other activities available, and you'll find plenty of awesome spots to take photos. If your kids are hero fans and have their own costumes the open house is a perfect time for you to come into the club with them for a super photo shoot!
I would also suggest that you watch the daily schedule for chances to
meet characters on your cruise! Some character meet and greets require you to sign up in advance through
"My Cruise Activities" but for others you're welcome to just stop and say hi. My day can always use an extra Mickey hug!
Your cruise is getting so close! Have you checked out this
helpful packing list? It's a good way to make sure you aren't forgetting anything important. I also love to print out this darling
"My Disney Cruise Adventure" booklet for my kids when we're getting ready to sail. It's a great way to learn a little about the ships and prepare them to be expert cruisers!
Happy sailing, Ashley! I hope your cruise is heroically epic!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
