During one of my non-park days, I need to get from Grand Floridian to Disney Springs. I’d like to take the monorail all the way to EPCOT to enjoy the scenic ride, but then how do I get from EPCOT to Disney Springs?

Hi there Stephen, Welcome back to planDisney! Thank you for stopping by with your excellent question. I'm thrilled to assist you! How how awesome that you are planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort. It really is the Most Magical Place On Earth!

Disney's Monorail Transportation is by far my favorite mode of transportation! "Please stand clear of the doors. Por favor mantente alejada de las puertas." I can hear it now!  The monorail system is an integral part of Disney’s transportation system. Did you know, on an average day the Disney World Monorail system will transport over 150,000 guests to and from the parks?

Since there is no direct transportation from any Disney Park to Disney Springs, the only way you can get there is by taking Walt Disney World Bus Service to the hotel then connecting to Disney Springs.

I find the easiest way to get from EPCOT to Disney Springs is by walking to Disney’s Boardwalk Inn, which is about a 6 to 7 minute walk, and then taking a free Disney bus from the resort to the Springs. If you have the time and would prefer not to walk, another great option is taking the free ferryboat from the International Gateway exit at EPCOT. this boat ride will take about 20-30 minutes and will drop you off right near the rear entrance of the BoardWalk Inn.

Stephen, I hope you find this information helpful. Thank you again for visiting planDisney. Have a magical day!
