During the MNSSHP in Oct, if we are able to enter at 4pm, aren't there still regular daytime visitors in the park? Couldn't they just stay for the evening w/o paying the additional fee? How does park staff know who has paid to be there for the evening?

    Hello Lori!

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party is a lot of fun. It is my personal favorite "special" party currently offered at Disney.

When you arrive for the party, you will be given special wristbands that you will be required to wear throughout the evening. If you are already at the Magic Kingdom that day, there will be designated areas in the park where you will go to get your wristbands for the party. The wristbands are the way that the cast members will know who has a ticket to the party and who does not.

Once the party begins - usually 7:00 pm - those guests without wristbands won't be able to gain access to the attractions and special party events. I guess it is possible for people to stay without paying for the party, but there wouldn't be much for them to do. In my experience with hard ticket parties at Disney, the cast members do a great job of clearing the park at party time.

Have a great time at MNSSHP!!
