During Mickey's not so scary Halloween party, is the magic kingdom closed to general guests? If not, how do they separate the Halloween Party guests from the general admission guests?

    Hi Carol!

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of my favorite ways to celebrate Halloween! I love the festive decorations throughout the park, the tasty treats that are exclusive to the party, the incredible entertainment and Disney PhotoPass pictures that are a perfect way to capture you family's Halloween costumes. Last year, we were able to get a great picture with the Ghost Hosts from the Haunted Mansion and a Magic Shot with the hitchhiking ghosts!

During the party, which on most years starts at 7 p.m., Magic Kingdom is closed to general Guests and only Guests with party tickets are allowed access to the park. At the park entrance, all Guests with party tickets will be given a wristband after they enter the park, which Cast Members use to identify party Guests. Guests who had standard theme park tickets for the day are directed towards the exit once the party starts and cannot participate in the party fun without a wristband. If a Guest has both a standard theme park ticket and a party ticket, they can pick up their wristband and enjoy the party!

While details for this year's parties have not yet been announced, generally Guests with tickets to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party can enter Magic Kingdom at 4 p.m. using their party ticket to enjoy a bit of Magic Kingdom before the party. During that time, all ticketed Guests can enjoy the attractions, entertainment and Character Experience in Magic Kingdom until the party starts.

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
