Hi, Jennifer! Welcome to planDisney.
You’re in for a real treat at
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! This special event at
Magic Kingdom Park is probably the most popular way to celebrate the spooky season at Walt Disney World. From trick-or-treating and rare character meet-and-greets to
Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade and
Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular, it’s a night full of festive fun and just the right amount of spooky. Since it’s a separately ticketed event, only party Guests can stay after 7 PM, which gives the whole evening a unique, more exclusive feel.
If you’re not planning to attend the party, visiting Magic Kingdom during the day can actually be a smart move, Jennifer! Many Guests tend to avoid Magic Kingdom on party days because of the early closure, which often makes daytime crowds lighter than usual. On the flip side, because people shift their plans to other parks, you might see a small increase in crowds at
EPCOT,
Disney's Hollywood Studios, or
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park once party time rolls around.
Here’s a little tip: if you're visiting Magic Kingdom on a party day, plan to take advantage of
Early Theme Park Entry and enjoy as many attractions as you can before 4 PM (when party Guests start arriving). Then consider hopping over to another park for dinner and nighttime entertainment—it’s a great way to make the most of your day without missing a beat!
I hope that's helpful, Jennifer. Thanks for choosing to be our Guest.
Mike
