Ho-ho-howdy, Kurt!
You must be on somebody's nice list because you're going to Walt Disney World Resort! A December visit promises copious amounts of seasonal eats and sweets. Not sure where to start? The Sugar Plum Fairy suggests keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for forthcoming holiday
Foodie Guides.
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom Park is the pinnacle event of the holiday season. This special ticket event takes place on select nights at Magic Kingdom Park. The party lasts from 7:00 p.m. to midnight, though party Guests can enter Magic Kingdom Park as early as 4:00 p.m. A theme park reservation is not required for party Guests entering Magic Kingdom Park after 4:00 p.m.
Complimentary sodas, popcorn, and ice cream are not part of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party package this year. Those items are traditionally part of
After Hours events such as last year's Very Merriest After Hours and
Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom Park, which returns in January. I'm glad you reminded me about the complimentary hot cocoa and cookies at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, though now I have a sudden hankering for a snickerdoodle!
It's important to consider all factors when making a choice to attend or not attend a special ticket event. For me, Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade and Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks are even sweeter than a Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar. I also love not having to rope drop in order to experience smaller crowds and wait times for popular attractions. This night owl is ready to bust a move at Club Tinsel in Tomorrowland and enjoy a nighttime Jingle Cruise.
Whether or not you end up experiencing Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, Kurt, I hope you have a very merry visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth during
The World's Most Magical Celebration.
Plan magic; planDisney.
