Hey there, Brittany!
Yes, you are correct! During
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party,
Lightning Lanes are not available. The party operates a bit differently from a regular park day. But don’t worry, there are still plenty of ways to make the most of your night without spending it in long lines.
First, the party itself is smaller and more festive, so overall wait times for rides tend to be shorter than during a regular day, especially for popular attractions like
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train,
Space Mountain,
Tron Lightcycle/ Run, and
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Because the crowd is limited to party ticket holders, you can often hop on rides multiple times with just a short wait. Last year, when I was at the party, we didn't wait longer than 30 minutes to ride any attraction.
So even without Lightning Lanes, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party still gives you the chance to experience rides, shows, and holiday magic efficiently, and with a lot of festive cheer sprinkled in!
Also, keep in mind that with your party ticket, you can enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 p.m. on the day of the event. While Lightning Lanes won’t be available during the party itself, you can still enjoy attractions that are open before the party officially starts. It’s a great way to get a jump on rides that might close once the festivities kick off!
Have a very merry time, Brittany, during the Party! Stop by and visit with us again if you have more questions!
Toodles,
Korliss
