How ya doin' Amanda and welcome to planDisney!
There's no place like home for the holidays and the Walt Disney World Resort is the forever home of Guests like me from all over the world. I just got back from there and the word magical doesn't even do it justice. While we do love
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party if you're not planning to attend you'll want to know how you can still experience that Disney magic. I'm happy to tell you how.
Party date or not, you can still catch the
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade at its regular time since that happens during regular park hours. Check the My Disney Experience app for that day's showtimes. Fireworks displays, on the other hand, are a little bit trickier. Since
Magic Kingdom Park closes to day Guests at 6 PM on party nights, that means
Disney Enchantment won't run those nights. If you plan on being in that park on a non-party night, you're in luck. Disney Enchantment will light up the night as usual.
Pro-Tip: Watching
Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show from
Disney's Contemporary Resort with some dear friends was one of the highlights of my recent visit. Kill two partridges in one pear tree by visiting a
Magic Kingdom Area Resort and adding a little holiday razzle dazzle to your nighttime experience.
Amanda, thanks for stopping by. May your holiday season be merry and bright. And if you have any other questions, please
come back and ask me or check out the planDisney Podcast for tips on how to embrace the spirit of Christmas at The Most Magical Place on Earth.
Happy planning!
Taylor
