During our June 2015 trip (our very first family Disney a World trip) my 4 year old wants to meet Sophia and Doc. Is there a meet and greet time after the Disney Jr. Live show or show we book breakfast at Hollywood and Vine, too?

    Hello Amy,

Congratulations on planning your very first Walt Disney World family vacation. Getting a head start on this process will certainly pay off in the end to provide you a less stressful trip.

Meeting the characters is a quintessential experience for any Disney vacation. Meeting both Doc McStuffins and Sofia the First can be done at breakfast or lunch at Hollywood & Vine. Currently, Sofia greets guests in Animation Courtyard (near the Disney Junior - Live on Stage! show) on most days. I would recommend meeting them during the character meal. You'll get a little more interaction time and you should be able to meet both Sofia and Doc. Just keep in mind that character meet and greets can vary and change without notice. Since your trip is planned about 9 months from now, I am unable to guarantee that those characters will, for sure, be available.

Feel free to stop back by with more questions as your magical planning continues. We're happy to help.
