During Halloween time, do the characters at Goofy’s Kitchen, Storytellers Cafe, and Plaza Inn still do autographs?

Hi there, Guojin! I’m sending you a "boo-tifully" warm welcome from planDisney!

Your question has me grinning like the Cheshire Cat—because what could be better than Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort, complete with beloved characters, ghoulishly good treats, and festive touches that make Main Street, U.S.A. glow with Halloween magic?! I’m so glad you asked, because I have some spooktacular news: yes, characters will be happy to provide autographs during Character Dining experiences, even during the Halloween season! So get your autograph book ready, because you’re in for some frightfully fun encounters.

Each dining location adds its own special twist to the season. Over at the Disneyland Hotel, Goofy’s Kitchen hosts a Halloween-themed breakfast where Goofy and his pals are decked out in festive attire, ready to sign autographs and share in the seasonal fun. Across the way at Storytellers Cafe at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, you’ll find both the Mickey’s Autumn Adventures Breakfast Buffet and Brunch Buffet, along with Clarabelle’s Enchanted Halloween Dinner—all of which bring autumn flavors and character magic together, with plenty of chances for signatures along the way. And of course, on Main Street, U.S.A., the classic Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park at Plaza Inn may not be Halloween-themed, but it remains fabulously delightful, with Minnie and her friends making their way from table to table, ready to sign those autograph books.

Now, if all this talk of food has your tummy rumbling, you’re in luck—the Disney Eats: Disneyland Halloween Foodie Guide 2025 was also recently released over on the Disney Parks Blog! It’s filled with frightfully fun treats like pumpkin-flavored delights, villain-inspired goodies, and drinks that are almost too cute to sip. I always like to keep a list of must-try items handy, because between Character Dining and all the foodie fun, Halloween Time truly becomes a feast for both your eyes and your taste buds.

Here’s one last playful tip, Guojin: don’t forget to pack an extra autograph book or a festive Halloween pen—sometimes even the spookiest of characters can’t resist leaving their mark in style. It’s a wonderful way to make your keepsakes as colorful as the memories you’ll be creating.

Guojin, your Halloween Time visit to the Disneyland Resort is shaping up to be a perfect blend of tasty treats, character hugs, and a little extra spooky sparkle. I just know your autograph book—and your heart—will be full by the end of your trip.

    See ya real soon!
